GEOMETRY IN AVIATION MAINTENANCE
In this sub-module we will first look at some properties of different shapes e.g. angles, number of sides. We will then consider functions and their graphs.
Aircraft maintenance data is often presented on a graph. Explanation and examples of how graphs are constructed, used and how to interpret the vital information conveyed by graphs are given in this sub-module. Since the use of geometry and calculations are important when fabricating parts for structural repair, simple trigonometry and trigonometric relationships are also explored easa part 66 module 1.
Trigonometric functions are also important in acoustics, electricity and electronics easa part 66 module 1.
