- Course Duration: On average, this self-paced course takes 40 hours to complete. However, actual time may vary based on individual experience and study habits. You have one year from the start date to complete and review the course material.
FAA Recognition and Awards:
- FAAST AMT Award Points: Successfully completing this course qualifies you for 40 FAA FAAST AMT Award Points. If you are not already a FAAST member, register for free at FAASafety.gov.
- IA Renewal Credit: This course also qualifies for 8 hours of IA Renewal Credit, meeting the annual training requirement for Inspection Authorization holders. Upon completion, ATB will authorize your credit with the FAA, and a printable IA certificate will be available at FAASafety.gov.
