CRJ 700-1000 General Familiarization Course
This comprehensive General Familiarization course provides an in-depth overview of the Bombardier CRJ 700, CRJ 705, CRJ 900, and CRJ 1000 aircraft equipped with CF34-8C engines. Designed to align with the Systems Description section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, this course is an essential resource for new AMTs in both base and line operations, as well as for those preparing for interviews or seeking to enhance their expertise.

Upon completing the CRJ 700-1000 General Familiarization course, you will be able to:
- Identify safety precautions associated with the airframe, its systems, and the powerplant.
- Understand maintenance practices crucial to the airframe, its systems, and powerplant.
- Describe the general layout of the aircraft’s major systems.
- Outline the layout and characteristics of the powerplant.
- Recognize special tooling and test equipment used with the aircraft.
Our CRJ 700-1000 General Familiarization courses are developed in accordance with ATA 104 and EASA Part 66 Level 1+ standards. Each course module is presented in a PowerPoint-style format divided into ATA sections, with chapter quizzes to test your knowledge before moving on to the next section. A serial-numbered certificate will be issued upon successful completion of all course chapters.
Course Details:
- Duration: Approximately 40 hours, though this may vary depending on individual study habits and experience.
- Access Period: You have 1 year from the start date to complete and review the course.
- Delivery: Access the course on any PC, laptop, tablet, Android, or iPhone with an internet connection.

IA Renewal Credit: This course (FAA ALC-1138) qualifies for 8 hours of IA Renewal Credit. If you hold an Inspection Authorization (IA), this course fulfills your annual continued training requirements. After successful completion, ATB will authorize this credit through the FAA, and a printable IA certificate of accomplishment will be available at www.FAAsafety.gov.
FAAST AMT Award Points: Additionally, this course qualifies for 40 FAA FAAST AMT Award Points, which will be issued upon successful completion. To receive this award, you must have a FAAST account. If you are not yet a member, you can register for free at www.faasafety.gov/login/reg/register.aspx.
