Airbus H160 General Familiarization Course
This Airbus H160 General Familiarization course offers a comprehensive overview of the Airbus H160 series helicopter, featuring Safran Arrano 1A engines, as detailed in the Systems Description section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual. Ideal for new AMTs in base and line operations, this course also serves as a valuable review tool and preparation resource for job interviews.

Upon completing the Airbus H160 systems training, you will be able to:

- Define the general layout of the aircraft’s major systems.
- Outline the layout and characteristics of the powerplant.

Trans Global Training’s Airbus H160 type training courses are designed to ATA 104 and EASA Part 66 Level 1+ standards. Each course is presented as a PowerPoint-style presentation divided into ATA sections, with a chapter quiz following each section. Successful completion of all chapters awards you a serial-numbered certificate in your name.
The average duration for the Airbus H160 technical overview is 40 hours, though this may vary depending on your experience and study habits. You will have 1 year from the start date to complete and review the course.

IA Renewal Credit
This course (FAA ALC-1126) qualifies for 8 hours of IA Renewal Credit. If you hold Inspection Authorization (IA), this course fulfills your entire annual continued training requirement. Upon successful completion, ATB will authorize this credit through FAA, and a printable IA certificate of accomplishment will be available at www.FAAsafety.gov.
FAAST AMT Award Points
Additionally, this course qualifies for 40 FAA FAAST AMT Award Points, awarded upon successful completion. To receive these points, you must have an account with FAAST. If you are not yet a FAAST member, you can register for free at www.faasafety.gov/login/reg/register.aspx.
